Alok Kushwaha, M.D. is a leading expert in regenerative medicine, rehabilitation and wellness medicine with almost three decades of physician experience. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine and has been program director and medical director of multiple medical organizations through his career.

Dr. Kushwaha completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, He has been affiliated with the Duke University Medical School Family Medicine residency training program (SRAHEC) as the faculty attending physician and was awarded “Preceptor of the Year” voted by the residents in 2001 and 2002 for both academic years involved with the residency program and was invited to be the commencement speaker for the 2002 graduating residency class.

Dr. Kushwaha has started and led multiple hospitalist groups in the DFW area since 2003 including groups affiliated with Baylor Healthcare System, Texas Health Resources, Methodist, and Premier Patient Care ACO. He has served as a physician quality champion to the Baylor Healthcare System, co-chaired the Healthcare Quality Committee at Baylor Grapevine for several years, and has served as Chief of Medicine at Methodist Southlake hospital. He has served as Hospitalist Service Line Director for Premier Patient Care ACO. He has also served as Medical Director to several Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care Facilities in the region since 2005.

He has developed and performed a variety of regenerative therapies since 2014 and is expanding these these interests in regenerative medication to enhance acute injury and wound care therapies while at same time continuing his focus on preventive care and wellness medicine.
